SB modified basics In phase 1 you omit all carbohydrate from your diet for a week to two weeks or longer depending on the situation. This is not for me at all.
I use the level 2 and 3, which you have some carbohydrate with each meal.
What I have found is rather sneaky and though it gives me “ carb” the carbs are in the negative so they burn out quickly. I use flat out bread which is 16 grams of carbhydrates minus 9 of fiber and 9 of protein. So its 16 minus 18. Now add three slices of Oscar Meyer roast turkey at 4 grams of protein each and no carbohydrate and you are now –2 minus 12 which make you so far minus 14, now add spritz dressing at each bite instead of pour dressing and you stay where you are. Add lettuce or some other high fiber veggie and you continue to go into the _meta_bolic negative! You get to eat with no guilt!
